OUR MISSION
MECCA, a non-for-profit organization, is designed to empower the community for social transformation. It operates to provide life-changing services. The scope of these services includes life survival skills, job training and development, educational advancement, mentoring, entrepreneur development, counseling, youth safe harbor, adult literacy and information sharing through community outreach, referrals, and networking. MECCA services extend to citizens of all ages and ethnicity, those of marginal socio-economic status or the economically disadvantaged.
Strategically our focus is on planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating services that will impact and transform the lives of the community at large. By securing seed capital form private investment and faith-based grants, MECCA will establish a financial framework to provide the necessary services, training and economic empowerment within our neighborhoods to foster revitalization. In essence the primary goal of MECCA is to improve quality of life, families, housing, education, and build a sense of self-worth and purpose throughout our community. The result of this methodology is the development of a clean, effective approach to equipping our targeted population with. alternatives for addressing individual and community needs.

To cultivate, educate and motivate through educational programs that will serve to meet the needs of the community. We recognize individual and community spiritual health are connected, and both are vital keys to economic success, personal advancement and community prosperity. Inescapably, the motivations, which drive personal integrity and productivity, are spiritual in nature. Therefore, our sense of purpose is driven by faith that translates into universal values
social justice and family stability.
